The redesigned frame contour and grip texture provide a better grip on the weapon, providing better control during rapid fire. The slide has deeper serrations for easier manipulation, especially under stress.
The pistol is equipped with a fiber optic sights.
The sights are serrated to prevent glare.
Other features include a picatinny rail, ambidextrous magazine release, grip safety, trigger safety, firing pin safety, as well as a striker status indicator and a loaded chamber indicator.
The trigger guard has been enlarged for easier trigger operation, even when wearing gloves.
The pistol comes with a "Mec-Gar" steel magazine; It is a full size magazine with 18+1 capacity. The box comes with a magazine loading device. All these features make the TOR1-XT an extremely versatile weapon.

Most shooters find they can shoot more accurately with a red dot than with iron sights, particularly at distance and when speed is an issue. With the dot, you can easily "holdover" for longer shots, while still seeing the entire target in the window. Your eye will also automatically center the dot on a round bullseye target, which is easier to see clearly at distance when using a "target focus," as discussed above.
